I got to play around and give Steve's Tahoe a listen when he had the Three 15" SQL HWY's in there on two 5750's

*** to my ears, and they were in a small box.

Kicker solo X 18" they don't need super big boxes and they take plenty of power - not gonna sound too good - should get painfully loud with a box tuned 40+.

Hard to say "overall" as you have a pretty well SPL oriented sub now.

Are you looking for more power handling ? More efficient ? Better sound ?

Never really been imressed with the Solo Xs....... Id try Cactus mk1s/2s ,New Crossfire Xpls(?) ,DC audiol level 5s , Memphis MojoMax (not the M3 mojo) and the TSNS has been good for some......... Are you looking for Spl loud or loud daily drivers ?

8 cubes would barely be nuff for one Solo X, sorry to say. Maybe a setup with 4 ported 10" in 8 cubes you could run like 10K to a quad setup of 10" HDC3.
