and the 12w3's off an alpine 600.1 pdx.

With that amount of power, the W3s just might be louder. W7 wants 1000w to perform the way it should.

What version of W3s are you talking about? I used to have a pair of the original 12W3's and I absolutely loved them, I thought they had excellent sq and they still got pretty loud in my 95 ***** am

The W6 sounds better than a W7 by far (IMO). If u want louder.. 2 W3's will be louder than the W6.. but IDK about a W7 off a 500/1 with more pwr the W7 might top 2 W3's..

not at all. the w7, imo, has just as good of sq. they might not get all that loud, but they really do have great sq i think
