Someone please explain this...

They're custom made boxes specifically designed for the SKAR, you twat. I also like how you're completely skipping my posts.
Name calling.... and not a shred of anything had to do with what I said. Real mature. Define prefab, then tell me those boxes don't fit that description. Also, I'm not skipping your posts. Read above.

AKA he's not sure if he wants the Xcons, aka he doesn't know what he wants... lol
There are no rules. What is to moderate? You are mad because you cannot logically defend your position and you're butthurt because you think you're guilty of what I've said. I understand, but don't lash out and make yourself look MORE foolish with your silly arguments that don't make any sense.

Since you know so much about me, what did I buy? If you do not know, we can say with certainty that this statement is total assumption and bs.

Really? What about the guys who have clicked like on several of my posts, or the people who posted agreeing with me? That would seem to disagree with you wouldn't it? Doesn't that prove that you're lying, since there is a direct contradiction to what you're saying freely available in this thread for everyone to see?
He doesn't know because he hasn't gotten them yet. He obviously wants the Skars, and if he's happy with their performance, he might just keep them and have them rebuilt. Just because he doesn't have his builds planned out to the last detail doesn't mean he doesn't know what he wants, or what he wants his system to achieve.

My arguments make perfect sense. It's your wild claim that people who don't save up and buy top of the line gear are not enthusiasts that doesn't make sense. By definition, an enthusiast is a person who is highly interested in a particular activity or subject. So theoretically, if someone is on this forum, interacting and learning, they are an enthusiast, they don't even have to have a system in their car.

Well if you want to prove that you stand by your logic, what DID you buy for your first build?

Sure they liked your post, but I don't see any of them standing up for your view point, which I'm sure they would have by now if they shared the same mus-guided, elitist views that you have.

Clearly it does mean that. You stated he doesn't know whether or not he wants the xcons. Say whatever you want but that will ALWAYS mean he doesn't know what he wants.

No. Your arguments do not pan out to logic aka don't make sense. You have been saying he doesn't know which of two things he wants yet that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he wants. You are saying that you can be filled with enthusiasm about a subject but not want to be able to do it their self and if they DO want the equipment to do it their self, it can just be crappy stuff that a non-enthusiast would want.

Well if you want to prove that you stand by your logic, what DID you buy for your first build?
Well this is an awesome question because no matter what I say you will say I am lying etc... but it's beside the point. The point is you avoided my question. You said you knew I had not saved and bought exactly what I wanted when I first got into car audio which meant you knew exactly what I bought. That is the only way that you would not be lying. You would have to know. This is why you avoided the question because you are in fact lying.

Sure they liked your post, but I don't see any of them standing up for your view point, which I'm sure they would have by now if they shared the same mus-guided, elitist views that you have.
There have been comments supporting it, but you don't think a "like" means they agree? What else could "like" mean?

Also trying to split hairs about things like arguing over semantics over the definition of a pre-fab box is childish. We both understand that people don't like pre-fab boxes because they're not made to spec for the subs that are going into the box, while these 'pre-fab' boxes are made to spec for the subs. nice try though.

I wasn't splitting hairs. You made a claim and it, like most everything you've said was a lie. Now you're trying to save face because you were caught in your lie.

Ecrack you seriously are retarded. If my tc 15 hadn't gotten stolen, I would be saving for the xcons and not buying any skars. Since my stuff got stolen, a lot of things have been put on hold. Its miserable enough not having the sub in possession, let alone not having any bass in my car at all. To make my life less miserable for the time being, I'm going with the Skars since I could get it quickly and it wouldn't delay my original goal by much.

Those skar boxes are not pre-fabs as they are not just building some random box and throwing it to me. I've already given them dimensions of what I can work with and what tuning I want to go with. I'm am plenty sure I'll be happy with the Skars until I have pieced everything together for the Xcons. If the box doesn't work out, I can just get a new one built. But no need to buy a new one yet until I've tried out the previous box. Even with their deal, the box is a ridiculously low price anyway, so I'm not at a big loss at all if the box doesn't work out.

This is the route I'm going with that will make me happy with the hobby, which I think makes you an enthusiast, not about how much $$$ you spend.

I can't argue with a wall. Just know that your idea of an enthusiast is stupid and unrealistic. Just because someone settled on their audio equipment doesn't make them any less of an enthusiast than you. I'm sorry you put so much emphasis on what you have.

So, specifically what is your point with this statement?

This is the route I'm going with that will make me happy with the hobby, which I think makes you an enthusiast, not about how much $$$ you spend.
Not by definition.

Sorry if you don't know what an enthusiast is and you can't say anything that is true or backed up my logic. Doesn't settling on something mean you're not that enthusiastic about it?

I wasn't splitting hairs. You made a claim and it, like most everything you've said was a lie. Now you're trying to save face because you were caught in your lie.
It's not a lie, it's convenient how you choose to recognize the definitions of words that are convenient and reject definitions that are not. For instance, you are adamant about adhering to the definition of per-fabricated, yet you turn a blind eye to the definition of enthusiast, which is "A person who is highly interested in a particular activity or subject." btw.

Now, logically refute that definition of an enthusiast using your argument, and I'll admit I was wrong.
