Silverado DDZ build

Those would have been a lot better idea for me.
I like the look of the threaded metal rods, but you won't be able to see the inside of the box anyways //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
And metal rods are heavier and the way they are mounted is not smooth. Dowel rods FTW

Started on the driver's side door baffle. Took a slightly different approach. I'm going to see which style I like better.

Also, I'm down to 4 neopros in good condition. Today, the other one with the dented dust cap fell on my driveway and bent the basket.

Here's what's going on so far

They were yardsale, had dented dust caps, and I have plenty of them.

My DD's are currently torn apart... so there's that, haha

Right now they're resting comfortably on a towel in my room

you should try wrapping that in fleece and using resin on it, i like where the second model is going though. if those baffles smooth out towards the speaker it'd look nice

im sure you know already but beware of the dash, space is tight inbetween the door and dash on that one spot.

Holy jury rigging Batman. What's going on with those rods lol. If you're that worried about vibration you might want to add some fiberglass mat in there somewhere. Resin alone ain't all that great.

And that door panel (is that what it is?) would have been much easier to stretch some fabric over and lather resin on.

I want the box to vibrate as little as possible, hence all the bracing. My amp is mounted to the top. Although I have foam under it, it is a fragile Brazilian.

I'm so tired of resin at this point. Layered wood is quicker, and I'm not an aesthetic person. I want this done yesterday quick

Adulbrich you got a good imagination //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

I commend you for your work tho. Your making it work.
