I forget who wanted to see the plexi. Was it Boominthoe aka @massivespls?

Anyways, finally took a picture. There's duct tape on it now, and I was planning to fiberglass it eventually. It's been cold lately, so I haven't felt like doing it. Now I'm re-doing the box anyways for the 21's, so it doesn't matter. Will be coming out anyways. Yes I know it's not pretty, but somebody wanted to see because I'm guessing they didn't believe that I actually did it. Here ya go, whoever it was:

Ya next wall. No duct tape and make it look better then that dude. Have some pride in it. I know it's not how it looks but it's how it sounds that matters but that's ghetto. Lol
I know. It was my first wall, I rushed most of it, and it's been cold lately so I used duct tape instead of fiberglassing.

I'm 17 and built my own wall. I didn't pay someone to do it, and I was proud of how it sounded

New original factory shipping boxes just arrived from IA. I'm packing up the wardens now.
Awesome, thanks!

is the plexi glued in at all?
No, screwed on and taped around the edges. Will hopefully resin around it next time

Clear packing tape
Yep, so I could see through it and also re-use the plexi. Just seals the small gaps between pieces.

It was cheaper to buy multiple small pieces than one big piece because of shipping dimensions

Is that old rags stuffed in at the top? WTF?

Do yourself a favor and next time use more layers of wood all around. That "bracing" inside the box is a disaster. Not like space was an issue so half arsing on materials for the sake of saving 100$ in wood when you're into the equipment for 5 grand is just tacky.

did you remember the fancy LEDs?
btw im louder than you
I have lights, but never installed them.

Right now since I have no subs in, yes you are

No, it's cloth so I could spray foam the top without wrecking the headliner

How many layers should I do? It's all double tor triple layered depending on the side. I think the bracing worked great. Plenty of 2x4's and threaded metal pipe with resin and cloth. It's solid.

If you stayed off my next build log, that'd be great

If you really believe that the rigidity of your sides was adequate do the same thing but with bracing NOT on the inside of the box. I'd consider no less than 4 layers on baffle and back, use your own judgment with smaller sides, but you won't get into trouble from going too thick whereas going too thin and having to ghetto brace it doesn't help airflow.

And yeah. I'm the problem with your build logs. You'd be the belle of the ball if it weren't for me coming in here ruining it.

I will add more layers next time if I can, but I feel like interior bracing is necessary with panels this big.

Well, you're sure not nice about any of your comments. You don't see me shitting on your builds. What did you have when you were 17?
