setting bassboost

dont touch it. it lowers you amps life span. and it distorts the bass so just leave it as low as possible.. for the other gains do what you want.
do what you want? so you're saying you can just set the gain to whatever you feel like?

 
the gain has to be set right! you can't just turn it up, but why should i leave the bassboost at zero? if thats the case why is it there in the first place?

 
why set your gain right if you're just gonna use your bass boost to get the amp to make more power. bass boost also just boosts a certain frequency and makes things sound like garbage.

it's usually a 1-band EQ.

Soundstream had the Hawkins bass, where you can choose where you'd like to boost, which can help if you know where you need boosting.
