the gain has to be set right! you can't just turn it up, but why should i leave the bassboost at zero? if thats the case why is it there in the first place?

it will send a distorted signal to your subs... and imo it is there so people who don't know any better will turn it all the way up and burn out their amps quicker and stimulate the market by making more purchases... it's a conspiracy man...

it's usually a 1-band EQ.

Soundstream had the Hawkins bass, where you can choose where you'd like to boost, which can help if you know where you need boosting.
