so i refoamed my w6 and my question is how long do i have to wait till i can listen to it for it to be fully dry . will i have to break in the sub again since it has a new foam. and ive never had to break in speakers i got some new comp set and rear coaxils and i have to break them in to how should i do that. ive always bought used sets so i never had to.

Depends on the glue. CA glue you can beat on in about 10 minutes, if it's that contact cement stuff you might want to wait overnight.

IMO breaking in is a load of ****. If it makes you feel beter play it at half volume for weeks, it shouldn't make any difference.

read the bottle....set time, and full cure time. usually, you get about 80%strength in less than 1/10th full cure. i've broke subs in before...just leave it playing a low tone, like 10-30hz off a house stereo (that can handle the impeedance), or whatever. only takes like 10-20watts max to free-air it. break-ins are really he-said/she-said as to need, but if you feel better, then do it. it will sound good when you put it in, and you can play it either way. i've never broke in components, though, but i've rarely ever pushed my mids/highs hard, unless it's to keep up with bass, and i'm wearing ear-plugs/caps.
