I said I would strait up test them for you. Want to make me a believer, as Mach5 said, for $50 you could:naughty:

I am not worried about making you a believer. There are plenty of glowing reviews that have been posted in the past.

This Denim guy seems like a pr!ck though lol. Isn't he from the same company that bashes Low-Hz for every problem they have lol. Just the other day I thought I heard some guy had a bad customer service expierance with Denim or one of the SSA guys, and they turned around and blamed it on Low-Hz somehow LOL. Standup business there haha.

Naw, Denim is cool. He's been around the car audio block more times than many and tells things like they are. Stand up guy...

I wish nothing but the best for RD Audio. If I ever meet the owner (Steve?), I will certainly buy him a cold one..

Actually, I am on another forum with Ryan, and I have talked to him about it LOL. Do your research jackass.
He told me he was going to buy an RL-I from you, but then your guy told him customer service wasn't free LOL, and basically sent him packing. Say what you want, but that's that truth strait from the person you shot down. Now why do I need to research when I was reading along with Marks and this guys posts the entire time? Ok thank you.

 

The customer asked countless questions about other products and got testy why we did not know everything about all these other products. He asked one question about the RL-i weeks ago, then never once said another word about it. He never once told us he had any plans to order or anything. He only showed desire to continue to ask endless questions about endless equipment and was never going to make up his mind.

 

When one person takes up hours and hours of your time and has not plans to buy from you and states he was going to buy from the competition it becomes detrimental to customers who actually want to buy something or have bought something or have legitimate plans.

 

So once again, you need to do your research.

different subs have different break in periods... some don't need it at all since it was done in factory

The review was done by one of your buddies, who also hates Low-Hz. Who would have guessed it would have been in favor of the mach5 LOL. Send me a mach5 sub and I will give you a real review from someone who doesn't care which sub is better.

Did you actually read the review and the later on posts by kent?

 

Where Kent actually praised Steve and his product? In addition to Steve thanking Kent for doing a great review?

Also, I saw the review you are talking about, and wasn't it done by one of your buddies LOL. Not to mention, I also heard that the guy who did the review, said that it was the best sounding sub he has ever heard. But failed to write that in his review because he didn't want to make your company look bad lol.

just so you know, i did that review. i am not mark's buddy, save for online. and it got an honest review, as did the rd classic. and the classic is not the best sounding sub i have ever heard, but rather one of the best sealed box subs i have ever heard. the maw12 sounds better ported then the classic, and that's what i wrote. even steve agreed with my review, who, btw is an alright guy.

and don't forget how the review got started. ben , aka showrides, called out mach5 based upon price and size. when he found out mach5 sent a sub, ben backed out. calling foul and everything else int he book, AFTER he calls mark out again saying how unbiased i'd be. if it wasn't for kevin, an rd sub would have never showed up.

and for the record, i will always point out the faults. i won't save anyone's face, especially if they are hyped. to be hoenst, it's much more fun pointing out the weakness in a hyped sub instead of marching with the bandwagon. even the ICON got called out on it's sealed box performance. i'm not biased, free or not, kept or returned. if there's a weak spot, everyone will know about it.

and don't forget, i posted numbers as well. numbers that showed the classic to be louder. if i was truly biased, would those numbers have been posted??

no, the arguement shouldn't be between rd and mach5. both are decent guys with decent product. mark is just acting the same way ben does, it's teh reps that need the *** whooping (well, one of them anyway), not the companies.

but please get the story straight about anything i said, or might have said. i've got nothing to gain by lying.

Can we please get back on topic with the original question about "THE ALPHA" all of this other information is useless to the original poster as he is not asking about the "Classic" or the "Mach 5 subs" his question was pertaining to certain topic "the alpha" somehow this got turned into RD vs Mach 5 vs Low-hz vs SSA vs denim vs cookiemoster vs mrogowski..

ummm..not broken in? kevin didn't send me a brand new sub, unless rd just packs them in cardboard and not wrapped. (everyother new sub i've gotten is wrapped in plastic and then boxed). mark did. both subs also got many sweeps played through them before any testing. so, if anything, neither sub was broken in.
