what sub to get next?

im trying to match the sub to my amp.

its a sundown SAZ-1500D

im trying to get 2k from it in my next install.

so probably going to run it at .5 ohms

im thinking for 2 FI Q 18" 's

ive never seen that done before, and it sounds like it would hit really low.

im just trying to get the most for what power i have.

any suggestions? anyone second my idea?

What are you running right now and how much room do you have to work with, what kinda vehicle?

With the power that you have I'd just go with a single 18" in a well braced 7 cuft @ 32hz with 100-110sq.in. of port area.

18" RE MT or Fi BTL with only cooling option.

the reason i want 2 Q's is because my sundown blew my mag, and the q has close to the same power handling, so if i drop it to .5 ohm and two woofers, it would handle more+get louder, and i would not have to worry about blowing the Q's

i just want to get he most for the power i have, id love to run two mags, but they dont make them anymore...sooo, idk....

you wouldnt really need to worry about the btl or mt with that kind of power either....

im also considering another sundown amp.

but im just wondering how underpowered the btl would be on 2k?
