newbie speaker install help please

Wont matter. If their is no battery separator between them, then they act as one system

ok and is there a way to only run one positive from the front and then have it split off to both amps? or is my picture the good way to do this. just trying to figure out how much wire and what size gauge to buy

do i wanna go bigger on the wire coming from the front battery since i will be splitting it? the sub amp I'm installing requires 1/0 just buy itself, then add in the speaker amp wont that not give enough power to the sub amp? thanks for your help

oh and just so i fully understand, the two ground to chassis's that i have in the pic don't have to be connected correct? i can just find a good ground near each amp and connect to it?
Yea. The chassis is your ground. If you use a dist block. You'll only have one ground.
If down the road you find noise in your system. Try using the same ground. Sometimes you'll get noise due to varying resistance on diff grounds but usually isnt an issue

Wire size is dependent on amperage qnd length. If you use a dist block. Your amps will be really close and you can use much smaller wire. Basically your set up should be
1/0 from front bat to back bat

1/0 from back bat to dist block.

4awg to all amps within 24"

But if you're getting that much 1/0 in the first place. It wont hurt to have another foot or two from dist block to amps

that chart doesnt show my amperage i don't think. I'm calculating 300 amps for my mono and 90 amps for the other, total = 390. front battery to amps will be no more than 17 feet.

the chart shows at 250 amps at 16 ft that 3/0 is required. so if I'm doing 390 amps at 16 ft wouldn't i need like 5/0? or am i thinking about this all wrong lol
Lol. 16ft seems low. Curves n such of the car adds length. Always get more than u think. Two runs of 1/0 should be fine. You also have to remember that music is dynamic and youll never be pulling a full 320 amps at any given time.

ok thank you, i was planning on getting at least 25 feet. will you look at these to sketchs and tell me if one is better/safer than the other please? i would prefer to use the top sketch because it would be less wire(pic doesnt depict this lol).

this way?
