My install's coming along nicely

I'm using the valuable information from ilikeradios and NSTALN to set me up a three way active system up front (PHD drivers, tweeters and 2 door 6x9s) and the rear 6x9 for fill and the sub wired directly to the HU bypassing the DSP, leaving me eight output channels to configure how I want unless Alpine ***** about needing a sub!

And I certainly DO know about basic parametric EQ and varying the center frequency and roll offs, although 24dB rolloff NSTALN suggests seems awfully steep! I'll try it at first, then play with widening it! LP, HP and BP, but what is the the remote for the sub? You mean the control knob? It's designed for the V9 and I'm keeping it. Works well!

John Kuthe...
How is it your using the "valuable information" when you have no idea what your doing??? You haven't done ANYTHING to your system except 2 diff people. You can't fool me buster.

There he goes again with them words. WTF are you an english major now/this week??

Always has something to say....
ROFL!! Yeah I passed my linguistic knowledge to my son who in Jr High had a friend chide him for using "big words" like "ample" which my son had used in a sentence correctly. Ignorance can be cured but stupidity not so much!

This one's on you. Doubt those BIG words you use can help ya install an amp or DSP.

**** re-write a technical paper for your DSP maybe you can finally understand it since you can't in plain English.

I've got everything hardware installed so to go full active is relatively simple. I can do this. Speaker wires are already run up front for full active, 4 amps outputs wires, only two pairs being used now to the PHD crossovers which of course I would remove and wire all 4 drivers on separate V75 amp channels speaker wires. Then figure out if the sub output RCAs from the HU can reach the sub inputs of the V9 directly, around the DSP. I just need four new purple RCAs from the DSP to four input channels of the V75 to power the PHD mid bass drivers and their tweeters separately up front.

Then juggle around the outputs of the DSP in Sound Manager and make all my drivers work together in their various frequency ranges as suggested by ilikeradios and NSTALN. But that's in my future! Right now I'm gonna continue to enjoy a sub-optimized car audio system that sounds pretty kickin'!!

So you really think you can do all that ? Not write about it but do it ? You couldn't even get it turned on ??? Good luck, maybe you should take it back to Tim and have him do the technical stuff.
