Cooking is actually something I'm very good at! My first job was as a baker, first at a full line shop then a donut shop for eight years 6 nights a week! I make Christmas Candy too! Skipped this year because that stupidly long installation process with installer guy bled over into the time I'd have to start the Christmas Candy making. See?Wow that's a lot. You can't handle it. Hell you can't even cook for yourself. I bet you have your own chef.
He has a PHD in cooking

And Ball Washer lolYup..jack of all trades....cooking, camping, technical writer, nurse, EE, which isn't true, and car audio. Which also isn't true.
I'm a lot older than most here, so I have been and done a lot more than most here. Duh!!Yup..jack of all trades....cooking, camping, technical writer, nurse, EE, which isn't true, and car audio. Which also isn't true.

Not so much lately, but especially in my 20's when I was married I used to honestly say "My week beats your year!" because it pretty much did! ;-)Confusing quantity for quality is a folly for the ages.
I COULD have done anything my installer guy did, but he's younger and more experienced and had all the right tools too. I was gonna before I contacted installer guy from his Craigslist ad. It would have just taken me a LOT longer, and as it was me and installer guy took way longer than really necessary, but we were both learning and I was directing the changes, so... Like when I was all ready to solder on new RCA plugs to the shortened cables we had just cut and installer guy turned me onto DroppinHZ' excessively expensive purple custom RCA cables and I said let's go for it!But you still don't know how to install an amp.
I'm sure most of us can do 80% of what you have done already. Some of us are older than most.....who can't cook?! Most of us have prob been camping. I myself have been several times already. Each of us has something unique other than car audio...such as other professions besides our job. Your not the only one livin' on this planet.
We've been thru this BS before. He's NOT an installer if both of you are learning. Gimme a break...and I seriously doubt you learned anything from him.I COULD have done anything my installer guy did, but he's younger and more experienced and had all the right tools too.
