You're going to need an upgraded alternator. There's no doubt about that. My kid had a 115 amp alternator and is running the same amount of power you are. When the bass hit, his truck wanted to shut off when he was idling.

What component set are you using, and do you have it already? Does it come with a cross-over?

im running 2250 watts on the kids ranger as we discussed, stock 110amp alternator & big 3,
no issues at all as far as I can tell...

It only happened when he cranked it up. The point is, it happened and I didn't want it to keep happening. Especially if he's trying to show it off.
