i started cutting the wood for the box yesterday. started assembling today. that's my dad helpin me build it.

carpenter's wood glue where the pieces of wood meet and that is white silicone caulking that you see in the pics

That doesn't seem like enough port area...you might get some noise

Yeah but that recommendation is for one sub...you have two. So that enclosure should be 1.3 cubes in each chamber (2.6 total)
