hey guys im in need of some real help here... i am small for a football player so i need to find the best way to legally build muscle and sustain it. i was thinking of using creotine but have heard it does not sustain the muscle mass and can be unhealthy. i have tried protien and it doesnt seem to work taht well besides it gives me horrible gas, but if that is the price u pay for bigger muscles then so be it. i was just wondering wat ideas yall had taht are legal and safe. thanks alot guys i could really use the help to try and gain that starting spot.

lol. j/k.

Creatine-Whey-Testabol-

Plenty of suppliments that will get you threre. Just do your research before hand. Side effects, etc..

Work out 4-5 times week. Diff muscle every day.Plenty of books out there that will help you out.

You will get gas from most of all of them, I was born big, so I dont have the problem you do, but My brother wasnt and he worked at a gym for 4 yrs and works out alot as well. He did all the sups etc and he eats some candy bars he gets from the gym I will ask him what they are but that has been the best for him, but he doesnt gain much weight, from them but he says that alot of guys found that eating right and working out reg helps out alot, and you just got to find out what foods really work for you. But eat alot but heathly has worked for most of the guys in the gym. I know when I started that I lost a good amount of weight, but then built the mass up and then started to gain it all, so you will loose at first. But I am no pro to any of this. But I know that works well for me. I also know that eating alot of times aday but not to much helps the body, my brother and his friends eat about 6-8 times aday, but its nothing major. For some reason I guess this helps the body out as well lol. But some stuff to try if you want. I would just eat alot of meat and pasta, and work out alot. I couldnt stand trying the creatine and having gas all day, and it aint pleasnt neither that sht makes your azz stink lol. good luck to ya.

creatine... will make you alot bigger. I personally just use Protein. I dont drink enough water to keep my body health why taking that shit. Because if u dont respect it and drink a gallon - 2 gallons a day. You can seriously injure ur liver.

Whey Protein is good. It burns calories while u sleep. Which means cutting the fat, and it heals ur muscles quicker after a hard work out when ur sore. I started taking protein last yr. As a sophmore i squated 550-600. Benched 265. Deadlifted about 375. But im a junior now. Just got done with football and back to working out. a week after the season. Protein is like eating 3 steaks at once. Its very good for you. I weighed 275 and i was about 6'2 last year. Now im 6'3 255. Too get bigger you basically are going to have to eat alot of protein. Carbs and work out alot. When ur burning 8,000 calories a day. You want to pull in 10,000. Running also makes you bigger. You loose all the fat on ur legs, and it defines the muscles. I ran a mile a day for 2 months straight. Protein isnt cheap my 120 servings was about $60. Nittrotech is even more. or celltech. The creatine i have is EAS HP. I stopped taking the creatine after i tore the MCL in my knee. Which happened to be the last practice of the yr. It will make u bigger. But you have to drink a hell of alot of water. Dont take it while ur playing a sport or it will drain water out of u quicker. Basically Overdose on it. Take 3 times what is required to get ur creatine levels in ur body higher than normal. Then take the recommended dose to sustain. Your muscles will be large and it wont shrink ur junk.

good luck man.

'Roids don't necessairly "shrink your junk", Just to let you know.

But then again, that depends on how many CC's you take, and how often. That, and what kind. The average dose 1-2 cc week, w/ test, won't. But then again, some people take 8 + cc a week. THEN it might, but not to the average,

First and foremost is a balanced diet, in which you get a full supply of all your vitamins and extra protein. Try to cut out some fat, and increase the carbohydrate/protein intake.

Once you've got the diet, you need a workout plan:

Go on cycles:

3 weeks lifting at least 5 days a week, every muscle group every day, circuit training

1 week lift 3 days, do less weight each day, and substantially less than the hard weeks before.

This will allow you to tear down your muscle fibers and really give your body a beating, followed by a short "taper" stage in which you must really be tender to yourself and rebuild the muscle fiber.

FYI: Circuit training is the use of multiple machines/lifts with a set amount of time on each, followed by no more than 30 seconds rest between stations. In other words, that whole 3 sets of everything til failure doesn't work the best. Train on multiple stations, 1 minute on where you try to get exactly 10 reps in (2 seconds on the lift, 4 seconds on the recovery...do not rush it) then 30 seconds rest.

You want to pull in 10,000
First, protein is not anywhere near eating 3 steaks at once. The average dose of protein in a shake is between 20 and 40 mg and 3ozs of lean beef has about 25mg, and everyone eats more than 3 ounces by a long shot.

Also, there is no way you're burning 8,000 calories a day. I was a swimmer in high school, which - besides cross country sking - burns more calories than any other physical activity. Swimming burns apporx. 1100 calories per hour, slightly more if doing vigorous workout (1500), and even at 4 hours of practice a day....which is less than you more than likely, I was burning 5-6000 a day. Running and land work burns nowhere near that much, so please don't take in that much....you will gain fat.

EDIT: a note on roids. They are not necessarily bad for you. I did a lot of research on them, and if you take them for a period of 3 months and then quit the bad effects do not usually occur. The thing with roids is that you will gain tremendous amounts of mass, but when you quit, you'll lose about 15 pounds of water weight from your muscles. The upside is that you will still be bulkier than when you started, just do not get sad when you drop off the roids and lose 10-15 pounds quite rapidly. This is where people run into problems because they get upset and then start right back up again which can cause some seriously bad side effects if steroids are used for prolonged periods of time.

Just eat as much as you can. Not junk food of course, but everytime u get a chance, snack on peanut butter.. Banannas...stuff like that...Eat lots of chicken. Not fried of course, baked chicken. Lots of protein though. Get plenty of sleep.. Work out PROPERLY, like a mad man...Matter fact, if u have AOL. IM me, Primetime186

I personally get up in the morning and have a meal consisting of complex carbs and protien about an hour before i go and workout. then after i workout i take a protien shake. you cant skip this you body needs the protien right after your workout. then i eat things like chicken sandwhiches or eat some slimfast bars as a meal replacement throught the day. i try and get about 6 meals in every day to provide my body with tons of nutrients. eating a lot of steak and chicken and veggies.

when im at the gym i usually workout for about 2 hours one day then do about 30min to an hour of cardio the next day. i do what is called a 3 day split so my routine looks like this

MON chest/triceps/shoulders/calfes

TUES Cardio

WED back/biceps/traps/Calfes

THUR Cardio

FRI legs/abs/grip/calfes

SAT Cardio

SUN Rest

i like to work calfes every workout day as they dont need as much time to rest and i have kinda small calfes. hope this helps ya!

The best advice I can give you is to stay away from any of the muscle enhancing garbage. If you feel you need to take anything, I'd go with protein, but stay away from creatine, it's a rip off. Sure you get big gains, but once you stop taking it, you lose practically everything you've gained. To get big you have to eat big. To get big you have to lift big. I weighed about 130-135 in high school and I benched almost twice my body weight with no supplements what so ever. Lift heavy weights concentrate on 3-6 reps 3-5 sets of each exercise. I usually work each muscle group once a week, some people work each muscle group twice. It's all about preference. Whatever you put into it, will be your results, if you half *** it, expect half *** results.

if you half *** it, expect half *** results
Best statement made in this thread. You get out what you put in, and unlike while working in close quarters with a coach or team, you have nobody to keep you in check while working out alone. Really push yourself and you'll get the results you want.
