Mixing sub sizes?

I know in general it is not a good idea. But
I didnt read past "but".

no, no, no.

Unless you plan on building your own crossover system for the whole thing, you wont see any benefit.

even if you did build a crossover system, you probably still wouldnt see a benefit seeing both drivers are designed to do the same thing rather than cover different aspects of a frequency curve

What if you run the 15s to hit the "lows" (50 hz and lower) and run the 10s to hit the "highs" (50hz to 80hz)?
because the 10's will sound like complete *** in a box tuned to 50-80hz

that, and a 10" woofer will play lows just as well as a 15" woofer, so its pointless before you even start

depends on a ton of factors.....acoustics, power applied, power continually supplied, enclosure type...blah blahh blah
I know it's not a simple answer. But if you do everything correctly, what will get louder?

Should due to more cone area....but do you have the space for 4 10's? You'd be better off running a single 15 in the proper enclosure than choking 4 10's. I don't know how much space lvl 4's require, but just make sure you give them their space.
