Also, as you can see one of the wires fell out of the amp but i cant get it back in? Its a wierd end and i dont see how it even stays in the amp. it seems like its to fat to fit in the hole.

the box dimensions are

length= 21 in

width= 14.75 in

height= 16in

the port dimensions are

13in. tall and 1-1.25 wide

loosen up the screw, stick the wire in, and then tighten the screw back down. Disconnect batt before doing this or u might ruin something.

If u dont feel comfortable doin that, take it to the shop and they will do it for u.

as for ur gear, u coulda got a ton better.

i got the stuff in my sig for a grand total of 450, and coulda got components and a amp for under 1000.

when u do get the funds, def upgrade and dont take it back to the same shop, cuz they will just run u for ur money again.

so looking at the sub and port with the memphis logo on top the box is 14.75" (H) X 16 (W) X 21 (D)? Looking at the box that is what it looks like you mean. Also that port should be 13.25" tall if it was done from top to bottom.

I am going to need the length of the port as well. (how far into the box it goes)

As for that wire, it is your ground for the amp. Pop your hood and there will be a fuse, either pull the fuse out or disconnect your battery. Then take an allen wrench and loosen up the screw for that hole, twist the wire up, then stick the wire back in the hole and tighten the screw back.

Your settings look fine for the most part. I would reset your gain the proper way to double check and once you know the tuning of your box you can set your subsonic filter correctly because it looks to just be turned off.

So they will give me 750 dollars back. no refund for labor and 15% restocking fee. I also keep the wires and bass control because they would have to charge labor to take it out but it works out better. my new system is going to be from a shop that just opened down the street pacific audio 101 and im going to get 2 JL Audio 12 w3v3, 500 watt or 1000 watt JL amp, and box installed for 750$ for an extra 400 i can also get a pioneer flip out monitor

You keep falling into the same groove:crap:

So you are losing 250 smacks by having them take their stuff back plus a restocking fee and then going to another "NEW" shop down the road and getting JL! Don't get me wrong, but did you read anything on here from peoples ideas?

I betcha you could order online and do a shit ton better in equipment and try to find someone local on here that would be willing to help you out.

Will save you money, time and BS and maybe make a new friend out of it who you could learn off of.

In the end you will be doing the same thing you did in the first place..do you not listen to us? Your digging yourself into a hole when you could save yourself a lot of money and come out happier than you would have been before.
