Jesus, now a NEW noise from engine, help fellas

check your trans mount man. I had basically the same problem with mine, was the mount. They break easily. Since when you push the clutch in its disengaging the trans, but when you let it out its engaging it thus causing vibration. Broken trans mount will make nasty noises, and also noises when making left turns (mine did that as well) almost like something scraping

Just checked, didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Anything else it could possibly be??

Just took a drive around a "round-a-bout" and it didn't make any noise, even at good speed.

What does it matter if it's not screwing anything up and you can drive around just fine?
If something is making a noise, in relation to a CAR, something is wrong.

How do we know it's not screwing anything up??

First, I need to find the location noise, and second, I need to determine whether or not it caused damage to X part of engine/transmission, and to what extent it's going to take to fix it, and whether or not the car is going to be road-worthy.

I'm going over the engine/transmission with a fine tooth comb on Tuesday.

My Integra did the clicking too like drchronic mentioned how it occurred because the transmission mount. Mine looked good while the engine was in but when I pulled it out the spot where the insert would go was torn almost all the way off.

I didn't even recall this situation until it was mentioned. My car did the same thing almost since the first day I bought it. It's been since November since I drove my car so I forgot mine did the exact same thing yours is doing right now. I'll get a picture of my mount and show you how it looked.

My tranny is still in mint condition and I even took it apart and nothing was wrong with any of the bearings, syncros shift fork etc. same with the clutch, pressure plate flywheel. I never would have thought it was the mount but I have a new mount for when I put my engine back in since mine was almost to the point of fully blown.

I'll show you a pic on how easily hidden the problem was with my mount in a few minutes once I find my old one lol

But why when I push the clutch in, the noise goes away? That's STILL what gets me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Everything you said that was happening like the clicking and turning left was how mine was. Mine would ONLY do it when I turned left which is probably because the transmission is on the right side in our engine bays.

My mount looked fine while in my car because the weight would push the two surfaces together and look like this( sorry for having a cheap digital camera that can't focus too well)

When I took my motor out I saw the mount was in bad shape and was like this with no weight

Maybe when you put your tranny back on again a lot of stress went on that part of the mount and separated like this
