Going over the entire car tomorrow, but if something is wrong with them, why does the noise go away when the clutch is pushed in??

No power to the CV axels then. it possible one of the splines is broken or something.

Hmm, never quite thought of that one....the passenger side CV axle was a ***** to get in for some reason, I wonder if something got damaged...

Tomorrow or Wednesday, when the $$ clears. I'm hoping it will fit in a USPS "flat rate" box with good packaging.

But the CV axles are still spinning...and when the noise first started, it was doing it WHILE parked...****, can't be that.
