Good god, is this EVER going to end?
So if you don't know already, my car is an Accord 5-speed.
It was chilly this morning, so I fired 'er up, and there was this stupid loud "ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta" sound coming from the engine bay, so I pop the hood and it sounds like it's coming from the engine, NOT the transmission. It's VERY loud.
So I get back in the car, push the clutch in about an inch, and it goes away.
So I drive the car, and when the clutch isn't pressed it and the car is in neutral, or shifting gears, it makes the noise again. I DO NOT feel it in the clutch pedal, so it can't be the throw-out bearing (replaced it 2 days ago). When the old throw-out bearing took a dump, you could feel it in the clutch pedal and it was a completely different sound.
Now, here is the weird part, this happened a few times. Once the engine warmed up after about 10 minutes, the noise stopped...but when making sharp left turns at speed, the sound comes back....WTF? It was only doing it this morning, it has been fine the rest of the day.
So I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like it's coming from the engine and NOT the transmission.
HELP!
