so you are saying its a class d? thats what the bd stands for, i only sold them on the floor and installed them...on the best buy roster only class d amp we have ever carried is the "1000" watt sony amp. kid at work had the punch 1000.1 on 1 kicker l7, switched it to that sony amp to save his electrical system lost .3 db is all (musta been a light 1000bd huh??)http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/2002home/ bd amps are silver the punch amps we carry are black also

ok, just my oppinion, if the subs are rated at 1000 watts max, try to find a kicker x100 amp. it may be hard to find, they arent made anymore but if u inquire im sure u can find one. that will be all the power u need and much much more, assuming u know something about wiring.
