Is my sub blown?

I have a Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D (sub sonic@35Hz & low pass@35Hz) pushing one 15 D2 ohm in a sealed 4.5 cubic feet box, running @ 1ohm (sub rated @ 1500rms). Was using for daily use.

Sub went out in the middle of a song. It won't do anything untill I press on the cone, about a quarter of an inch. What could be the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.

quoted from PSI.

This is an RD Alpha Max motor, with a 4 spoke frame.

We built (2) drop-in recones for a guy in Sanford FL (in 08/11). I'm sure that this is one of them.

Parts used:

3" 4 layer extended length aluminum flatwire voice coil - D2 ohm

2 8' stiff progressive spiders

Sewn heavy duty leadwire

15" heavy duty cone assembly w/ wide roll surround

6" poly dome dustcap w/ PSI logo

Use it with 1200-1500w rms in 4-5ft ported and it will do very well!

When I push on the cone it hits/sounds like it should.

yes i like my lows. How would you tune it for best lows?

If it just stopped mid song thats what happend to me, and it turned out that the voice coil separated and the only way to fix that is to rebuild the sub which is not a good way to go(in my case) so it pretty much is blown that might be what happened to you, unless you have blown fuses or bad wires make sure to check everything.
