First Build in nearly a decade... send help

Deal! Do you think with that amp and a solid 1500 watt amp id have to worry about an HO alt? ill obviously run an AMG battery and big three up front but im terrible and math and knowing how much power i need for certain things.

I can't say for 100% that won't need a ho alt...but I'd put the largest capacity agm you can fit in your car (that's some advice I got awhile back that I kinda kick nyself for not thinking of 😂).

With music your amps aren't drawing as many amps or putting out as much power in a sustained manner as you'd think. So as long as you're not running tones full tilt you should be fine

deal i assume to make sure it fits my car just grab basic measurements ? i was a teen last time i did this so im excited to learn / do things the "proper" way this time around

That's what I did on my saturn and my delta 88...the guy at the auto part shop looked at me funny when I asked for a battery "this" size 🤣

Alright so I'm going to prep to do my first "run" of this build. That being ill snag an AMG battery and the wires to run the big three. however, I'm convinced in my old build that i ran 2 fuses from my engine , but in all of my recent research i can only find the need for a fuse from the battery to a distribution block near the amps. AM i tripping and never ran 2 fuses ? Oh and ill also run a HO altenator but probably will insatll closer to the end of the build, so

To start this first phase, is this a fair shopping list
- Battery
- 10 feet 0 gauge black
-10 Feet 0 gauge Red
- Knukon Battery terminals
- 200 amp fuse and fuse holder.
- Ring terminals

Also what should i look for specifically when choosing a battery? obviously physical dimensions but i see all sorts of ratings on them that i have no idea what they are . I just want to be sure if i order it that its an order once and it'll fit type deal.

also, would it be worth looking into running a 3 way comp speaker set or should i just stick with the 2 way? idk if people install it all behind the door panel or if this is something you delve into once you start fabricating your own panels

Update / Bump:
- I answered my fuse question, and found an XS battery that fits my car, so im going to go about the phase one shopping list here:
- Battery
- 10 feet 0 gauge black
-10 Feet 0 gauge Red
- Knukon Battery terminals
- 200 amp fuse and fuse holder. (unless you can tell me a better amp size to use after i type below)
- Ring terminals

After this, Im going to acquire B2 2 way component speakers that are 2 ohm, and amp those with a Riot 800.4, but my quesion is can i pair these 2 well since the amp is a 2 ohm amp?

if the simple answer is yes, ill go forth with b2 riot 12s in a box tuned to 34 hz, off a b2 riot 2.5k that ill wire down to 4 ohms for 1600 watts.

Ill also be running fused distro blocks, 12 gauge speaker wire, and hopefully wont encounter any issues with the tweeter since its an inch big. oh and the altenator ill toss in will be a 250 amp, so i feel like the elctrical should be more than covered.

Does all of this seem like a good final list before i start popping off and buying it all? i think i covered everything.
