yep.lol i saw ur post about that avatar did db hook you up with one?
thanks dude.nice pods, and holy ****ing avatar lmaooo
Let me just get some pics of that and show you. Much easier than me trying to explain it, lol.Did you cut your door apaer or what did you mount the speakers too?
i'm not sure if i am sealing it off or not. I guess i better get some suggestions huh? I think it would be better to keep it open don't you?Are you sealing the pods behind the speakers or are you keeping the back open so it can use the whole door as a box? And nice, I did something similar, but I only have one speaker + tweeter per door. I kept the pocket at the back of the panel that you deleted and just did the speaker over the old speaker cover. Hopefully that doesn't rob you of too much leg room. Mine does a little bit, doesn't affect me, but when my mom decided to steal my car for a week though (her car needed work so she found a spare key in my room and just used my car for that week without informing me, then continued to use it once I found out for several more weeks). She's too short to drive, she puts the seat up as far as it goes and sits like a little old lady hunched over the steering wheel. She managed to not have enough leg room and rip out a bunch of wires under my dash because of it, then blamed me because of my pods.
Anyway, one thing about those pods is the way your speakers are pointed you may have some really weird imaging. The front speakers should sound good, but the rear ones being pointed forward you might hear their echo instead of their direct music.
well, i might only have to use one set of tweets because the diamond tweeters are extremely bright. So if it sounds good with one set of tweets, i will just keep them in the a-pillar, and if i need to use the other pair i will just find a place on the pod somewhere to put it, without it being mounted. lolOkay. My pods stick out further and are angled a bit harder than those ones, so they rob leg room but the driver's one points right at my face and the passenger's one gets the side of my head. Where are you gonna mount the tweets?
ha, my car is the easiest car to take apart. i swear they made this car specifically for car audio installs.Dang your lucky your doors come apart like that haha most doors are just all 1 piece //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif nice job on the fiberglass though![]()
