I have got £700ish to spend on a 2 or 3 way component set I currently have an amplifier which is 100RMS at 4ohms or 150 at 2ohms, the amplifier will mostly likely be upgraded soon but I got a good deal for it off a friend new

If you have a specific question about speaker recommendations or setup, feel free to ask!

What vehicle and do you plan to stick to factory sizes and locations? Focal is European I believe as well as several other brands. Should be able to get a hold of a nice set.

The only speakers in the car at 6.5inch in the front door cards. I know tweets can go on dash and the smaller speakers I was thinking top of front door cards or dash

There are some focal es 165 kx3 for sale used 700£ should I buy or fort out the bit more and buy new?

If they are in good shape and the price is right, i'd buy them.
A place called bass junkies near me has them for for sale surprisingly, so I’ll probably buy them from there so they will be new so no damage but thank you very much I like how they have thing for the tweeters and other speaker so not fabrication. But where would you recommend getting connections from for them?

Always best to run your own speaker wires but if you can tap into and use the factory wires it saves some install time.

I already have some OFC 14 or 10 AWG in the door cards (it was a pain in the *** to get through the tube) and resonix sound deadening in the doors as well and I got a lot of CLD and mats left over. A question I do have is on the resonix website they have their own 10AWG wire and RCA leads would these be worth buying or is the difference not noticeable. I currently have some RCA leads from a wiring kit for my AMP so I couldn’t tell you any details about them
