Why do you not quote my posts when I'm the first person to point out how small those pods were? I never said anything about making an enclosure in the door. I was just wondering why you didn't open up the backs of the pods you made so they use the airspace in the door. If you think they sound good now, try that and you will shit your pants.
Next time, when you're wrapping mold fabric.
1. Have the door panel prepped ( tape it up good)and ready to have the pod bolted onto to it.
2. Make sure your frame work is sturdy and will hold up to you pulling your mold fabric taught.
3. Use a little ca glue and temporarily glue the bolts that hold it to the door panel in place.
4. Use some spray glue to hold your mold fabric to your skeleton.
5. Stretch it good and tight, then attach the pod to your taped up door panel BEFORE you apply any resin. This way your new pod won't warp all to hell while it's curing. Leave it attached to the door panel at least 24 hours. The longer the better actually.
6. Post more pics so we can see your work progressing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I'm really glad that you are on the board, so I can actually learn something. I should have used fleece, but whats done is done. The speakers scream now, so there wouldn't be any point in opening up the doors, because the guy's satisfied and we'll leave it at that. I will be making a sub box pretty soon for my new sub, so I might be posting up a build up of it in the next week or two. All I need is practice, and I know that. And I'll be using fleece, and about 8 layers of glass on the box, so it will be sturdy as a mofo.
It was IamDeMan.
Pics or BS!Nope, this is the slow season here at work so I post. IamDeMan made that pic btw, not I.

Yes we do. My first time with FG is documented in here too. It certainly could use improving and things were pointed out. I was greatful for the advice and criticism. I learned one important thing. I hate working with fiberglassWell you have to start somewhere.
Thanks man, yeah I had to build my doos out almot 3 iches.that looks real good man. I just wish I had some more room to work with. it's pretty cramped in my cab
Well when you do your next build use flease and strech it very tight save you alot of sanding in the end. Here is my door after I streched the flease on it.
