no doubt, time is worth money. but there will be lots of time "wasted" practicing on projects for yourself or just practicing in general. maybe you could think about doing fiberglass projects that are more for structure rather than cosmetics first. that is how i taught myself more or less.... make a mostly wood box with maybe a fg bottom molded to the floor under a truck seat or something.... anyways, big balls imo to actually charge someone for other than materials on that....First of all, I wasn't calling you a punk kid, I was just refering to the fact the losers around here who think they've got a system talk shit on the kids who do have nice systems.
Secondly, it's my tools, my shop, and my time, and I think all of that is worth something. Would you work a job for a week and not want to get paid? I wish I had that kind of money where I could just waste my time doing something and not get anything in return.
