Del sol Sub box

Hey guys.

So i took some measurements to put a ported sub woofer box behind the seats in the Del sol. i stripped everything out and theres actually alot of room to put a nice box for my Fi 12.

Width up to 39"

Top depth 8"

Bottom depth 11.5"

Height 17"

i used re cacluator to get...

1. 2.5 cubic feet (2.3 after sub displacment)

2. tuned to 31hz

Does everything look good?

Should i make a slot port or use port tubes?? what size should the width of the port be?

Why is the face of the box slanted?

hmm, i come out with between 1.75 and 2" port width....

Ah, I was looking at the back of the car as being slanted, my bad.

RE box calc is way wrong, i once designed a box to be tuned to 29hz and when you actually compute the tuning it comes out to more like 34
