lol that card is about double the price of what I plan on spending, again if I played games maybe it would matter but thats a waste of $150, and also the power supply is like $50 more than the other one and doesnt seem that huge of a difference, again a waste of money

if your gonna recomend something to me, please try and make it something that will benefit me and not just waste my money, this is my first build but that doesnt mean i dont have a clue about any of this.

Id consider getting a blu ray drive instead of that dvd drive though. You can get them for about 150. Depending if you watch DVDs on ur PC and what not though

if you could, post a link of this other processor, but I was told the 6600 was pretty good. Also I am just palnning on making a great computer that wont give me problems and I can show it off to my friends when I need to, all though I am not a huge gamer or anything I still want to have some decent parts in it. thanks

Get that crosair 650W you linked to that will be plenty. I have a 550W PSU in my current build and it is very similar to yours.

get as much wattage as you can afford. a power supply is one thing that you can use from system to sytem for years to come and having pleanty of headroom never hurts
