Computer will be used for mainly Web design, photoshop, internet, music, and maybe the occasional game but nothing hard core. I am not into gaming much.Depends if you're into gaming and what games you play. IF you play games that take up a lot of disk space then yeah it'd be worth it. An example of these games would be WoW, Age of conan. any mmo basically.
Yeah 5 year warranty doesnt do jack shit when it dies on you though, WD had a warranty on the HD i have right here but that doesnt fix the 300gb of stuff I cant get off of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifSeagate HD for the 5 year warranty.
Wait.......that's 2 750s for 240? that's a good price. Cheapest i've seen locally was 130ish. I can get 500 WDs from Frys for 69 bucks. I wouldn't blow my wad in one spot, if you shop around you can get better deals. Like Frys has a deal on a better quad for like 30 bucks more. It comes with a shitty board, but you could sell the board for like 30 and you got a better proc. They also have gread deals on memory too.Hard drives will be setup in Raid 1, I have already had a few hard drives fail on me, mostly WD //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Are you trying to go next level with this build? or are you just setting a budget and trying to get the best bang for that budget? I have a few things I could sell you.
Not me. I've had two fail within a year after purchase. WD all the way baby!I kinda like seagate's hds.
if I didnt have two dead WDs sitting on my desk, one internal and one external, I wouldnt steer as far away from them as I am right nowNot me. I've had two fail within a year after purchase. WD all the way baby!
Bad luck? I have only ever had WD or Seagate. My mom's Hitachi in her Dell went out after a few years. I still have a few 6 gig, 2MB cache WD drives laying around that I could fire up.if I didnt have two dead WDs sitting on my desk, one internal and one external, I wouldnt steer as far away from them as I am right now
