Smooth fiberglass enclosures:
spandex/thin stretch fabric for basic shape
resin/mat laid on smooth as possible
scuff with 40 grit and dig out any bubbles/air pockets
fill with chop mat/bondo glass and scuff with 40 grit
lightweight body filler, sand with 80 grit, repeat if necessary
milkshake - sand with 80 grit Research if you're not familiar with this technique
That gets you ready for vinyl or any fabric, painting would need a few coats of primer
x2 on fleece being crap, it wrinkles easy and adds ZERO strength, no matter how much resin you soak it with. The mat/cloth reaction with resin is what gives any FG project strength...
