i agree with this you shouldent get stuck on amps i do beleve that steg are the best for SQ but that is not the part of the system that should be focused on its the speakers and whats played through themWell, if space is tight, you could just run subless. This requires a good use of door space though. You can use the P880PRS in a 3-way front stage. The only limitation is the max 200Hz lowpass for the sub out. This forces your midrange to get down to 200Hz, so you're looking at larger mids from 4" to 6" depending on what you can fit and the desired output level.
I wouldn't get stuck on amps. They are a tiny part of the end product. All you need is power, reguardless of who's name in on the cover.
You're probably looking at an 8" midbass to get decently low. You might even consider true subwoofers at this point as well. It depends on available space and power. You pair it up to a largish midwoofer at 200Hz and run the midwoofer up to the tweeter at 2-3kHz. Actual speaker choice will come down to what flavor of sound you like(smooth, crisp, warm, neutral, bright, etc.).
i dont remember if you saud yu had a HU over here there is alot of Naakamichi used though ive not heard it and think its ugly
