Breaking in my sub?

I havent done a hell of alot of subs in my time..... but the few I have had I did break in for about a day to a couple and noticed a differnce like DJ FURY was saying.

Breaking it in losens the sub up for more movement and gets it used to moveing like that so that when you do POUND on it, it can do its full movement.

If you havent ever broken in a sub, how can you know if theres a differnce till you try it? Your saying you havent broken it in and it was good...... well how do you know it wouldnt of been better if you had? YOU dont lose anything breaking it in, but I think there is a little chance that it wont move its fullest.... correct me if im wrong

I had to break in my Audiobahn (I know... I know) 6X9's, the REALLY, REEEAAAALLLLY sounded like shit when I first got them, but about a week or two later the were playing smooth, and while they aren't the best SQ speakers in the world, they sound ALOT better than ALOT of other stuff... and since I don't pay full price... I don't feel quite so bad...

In conclusion... I do believe that breaking in is noticable...
