whiich setup for my hcs

i got 2 hc 12's going into a 4 cubic foot box

2 12s and 2 bx1000

2 12s and 2 bx1500

2 12s and pg tantrum 1200.1

or any other suggestions

Keep in mind i dont wanna blow my eardrums lol

either the 2 bx1000ds or 1500ds, their gonna want that 1000watts... assuming that you only get one amp if u go the PG route.

will my alternator be able to run 2 1000s or 1500s? i hope so because thats the route im thinking the 1000s because 1000 watts each would be good any more input?

how many amps is your alt?

1000w will pound and 1500 will be crazy, go as far as you want

uhhh its just a stock alt on my 92 celica. I looked it over and it dont say nothing so i dunno. know anywere that sells 1000s cheap?

try www.ebay.com for the amps and to figure out your alt, go to Checker's or Pep Boys or Autozone's website and fill in the thing for your car and the replacement alts they say should be the same as your stock one

im bumpin this because i have a questin bout the hifonics brutus 1000d it says 1000 rms at 1 ohm, the reason im writing is this comment at sounddomain.

The BX1000D Brutus is said to pump 1000 watts @ 1 ohm. Afraid to tell you all this but it only pumps out 700 watts at 1 ohm, 400 at 2 ohms and 250 watts at 4 ohms (this is all stated withing the manual).

so is that true because for my hcs i decided 1000 watts each. Ty and any more input would be appreciated.

i have always heard they put out their rated power at 1 ohm at least, 2 and 4 ohms is questionable but i thought it did it at 1

keep in mind this is daily driving. I wanna be able to hear when i hit 30 lol. So is 2000 watts to much?
