I had a 93 stang w/ 306, slightly worked TFS heads, custom HR cam, 10.5:1, Vic Jr intake, Pro-Systems carb, Probe pistons, KC clutch, Fidanza flywheel, Team Z suspension, 4.30 gears, and alot more crap I dont feel like listing.

My best time was an 11.39 in the 1/4. I shifted @ 6800.

Would 4.30 gears kill you in the Quarter, seems like an 1/8th mile car.

Traction is where you start breakin things. I would rebuild that 8.8 too. I'm sure the clutches are prolly shot if it's been driven hard. Too bad you werent doing this 3 months ago. I parted my car out a few months back. It was everything I was running low 11s with too.

You could have used the pistons to build a 393 stroker, and ported the heads and intake to suit the needs of it.

I am selling my C6 as i stupidly didnt realize i couldnt use a 4x4 ***** in a car. I shouldve thought about that one sooner. There is a C4 on craigslist for $150 out of a 66 Mustang. I was going to get a shift improver kit.

Had to have steep gears due to the fairly large cam. I shifted at 6800rpms. I used a little taller tire to compensate for the gears. I was just hitting the rev-limiter when passing the line.

Pro-comps are not that good. I would sve up and do it right the first time. But you a used set of AFR's or TFS heads. Check this site out...

Im not racing though. If they are that good then i cant afford anything other than to stay stock.

They should be fine on a street car. I personaly know a guy who had the 215 CNC Pro-comps on his car and was running an 11.9. I helped him swap them out with some AFR 185s and he dropped his times to 11.5's. He was running a Redneck Performance C-4.

My only other option would be to try to steal some GT40 P heads off craigslist and upgrade the parts but i wouldnt know where to begin on that one.

You still couldnt get those to flow enough for a 351w. They are only good for about 280hp N/A.

Some of the BEST out of the box heads you can buy. Still not big enough for a 351. You cant have much work done to them either. They dont have a lot of metal left in them to port bc they are CNC'd.

Thats the first set of heads I had on my 93 when I was running mid-12s.
