I had a 93 stang w/ 306, slightly worked TFS heads, custom HR cam, 10.5:1, Vic Jr intake, Pro-Systems carb, Probe pistons, KC clutch, Fidanza flywheel, Team Z suspension, 4.30 gears, and alot more crap I dont feel like listing.
My best time was an 11.39 in the 1/4. I shifted @ 6800.

Had to have steep gears due to the fairly large cam. I shifted at 6800rpms. I used a little taller tire to compensate for the gears. Pro-comps are not that good. I would sve up and do it right the first time. But you a used set of AFR's or TFS heads. Check this site out...

You still couldnt get those to flow enough for a 351w. They are only good for about 280hp N/A.My only other option would be to try to steal some GT40 P heads off craigslist and upgrade the parts but i wouldnt know where to begin on that one.
