Honestly, if its just gonna be a weekend street car, go with the Pro-comps. They will be just fine. Anything will be better than your stock heads.

I just read some reviews and was a little concerned. I might run it at the 1/8th down the street once or twice on Fridays and when i have more money it will defaintly be built more but this is a budget build to get "my foot in the door" on high performance shit.

Save and do it right the first time then. Whatever you do, DONT rush anything. Building a car takes time. It took me a year to get all my parts togethor, and another 3 months of building it by myself after work and on off days.

I want to do it right but a budget oriented right. If those heads will be fine for weekend driving and a couple passes then those will be start. Id rather put money in places of the car that wont need to be upgraded later like my lowering springs and limited slip. Im going to get those heads and the mild cam i was looking at and when i have a job ill re-do everythnig.

I was just thinking about MY use for them. They will survive passes down the track. Its not like you'll be putting down some massive torque or anything.

I still cruised at 3000 rpms doin 65. The tall tires (27") helped out alot with that.

The only pics I have is from when it was running mid 12s. My ex "accidentaly" deleted all of my pics off of my camera from when I was building the car before I transferred them to my computer.

I would stick with the 3.55's if staying with the C-4.

3.73's w/ an AOD or T-5.

It really depends on your cam. The bigger the cam, the more gears you'll need. The weight of the car comes into play also. Lighter cars dont need as much low end tq to get the moving.
