A good sub or not?

is a 12 inch MDX 12-12120 a good sub? i have it powered by a rocksford fosgate punch 500x amp. the sub is brand new from a local audio shop.

haha but mdx is a real brand. and there is a mdx that will out hit some kickers

lol does souund good im pushing 500 watts to it. Its on 2 ohms. its a 4 ohm sub so it wont go down to 1 ohm and its in a probox

not the one i have but another one it was $340 and it was 1250 rms. The guy said it outhit a 15 in CVR and it is a 15

kicker cvr ****. and do not cost half the price as the $340 sub you mention. you could maybe get 2 kicker cvr 15's for under that price and blow it away

"the guy" as in the salesman? ok so first rule of thumb... you know nothing at all

second rule of thumb:

the salesman knows less than you....

That's right... what he "knows" is generally so wrong and ***-backwards that knowing nothing is better...
