Rockford Fosgate p3's

I have two 10" p3's and I was just wondering how big of an enclosure i should build for them. I was thinking 2.75 cube ft tuned 30 - 35hz what do you guys think?
RockfordFosgate.com recomends them to be ported with 1.25 cubes each and at 40 hz. But if you wanna get lower you should give it more air, so yes, a 2.75 at 35 would sound fine.

So do you think that 30hz is to low for the subs.

yes i do. rockford subs lose sound when played lower than recomended. you can try but i don't think you'll be as happy as recomended. i would leave it tuned at 40hz but increase the box air a little

yeah they well not hit as hard in that song. i think if you tuned it at 30 you would get what your looking for. just your subs won;t be at there best. i think you would be plenty happy enough though. go for it

as far as? i love the how the rockfords sound. i think they hit awesome. no one on this forum is a rockford fan though. as far as how loud it gets though, the type r well be louder. and you might like that sound better too. but i think both are good subs
