Hi guys, I need help am not getting the bass i want, even tho i have a decent amp and a sub

okey should i make the port bigger does it get more windy or do you get more base too?
Proper airspace and tuning with sufficient port makes all the difference

Once in awhile I contribute to the forum with a freebie... haha. From database to the occasional thread response. That said I'll repeat... "Ok then" to budget folks. I'm NOT arguing over budget or willingness to spend with some of the local "talent". Over 10yr I've been either directly helping or lurking but keeping my opinions to myself, All things being equal a budget build is just that, whether your fav stinger 2K or the forum darling of a sub.

A little comedy just to check those "serious contributors"... haha. Sorry, I'll wait for Emilis... its his thread.
Haha, heres a video havent tested to much or taken many pictures this is what I have now. But it plays 10 times better now and plays low and punchy am quite happy how it turned out. Not perfect but does work good

Ground zero amp 1800w rms 1 ohm
Edge subwoofer 12 1500w rms.
I just upgraded my wiring to 2gauge
And am really dissapointed theres just isnt much base, it feels like max 500-800w and i tuned my amp and still the same thing and i dont know whats wrong I tried changing the amp that didnt work, could it be that the sub need a lot of power or?
If you just have one sub make sure it’s a dual 2 ohm voice coil design. If so, wire in parallel for a 1ohm load.
