Hi guys, I need help am not getting the bass i want, even tho i have a decent amp and a sub

Ground zero amp 1800w rms 1 ohm
Edge subwoofer 12 1500w rms.
I just upgraded my wiring to 2gauge
And am really dissapointed theres just isnt much base, it feels like max 500-800w and i tuned my amp and still the same thing and i dont know whats wrong I tried changing the amp that didnt work, could it be that the sub need a lot of power or?

Yeah am new here just need help, yeah I have aftermarket head unit i used it in my old setup and it was bumping pretty good better then now for some reason

It was the same car I just changed the wiring and a the sub

Did the battery get disconnected during the swap? Where is the sub level at currently and did all your eq settings get redone?

Yes i disconnected the battery, I didnt change anything on the headunit and i tuned the amp with a mulitmeter

you didn't answer the question, recheck sub levels please. Then supply a Photo of the overall sub setup please, with a second of the amp settings as they currently are set.

And list your gear, from signal to output

I've seen hu's lose their setting on sub levels when the battery is disconnected before. Listing your gear is nothing but helpful. Photos of the setup is icing on the cake. More information yields better results

My headunit doesnt have sub level sadly its just the overall bass for the door speakers, but i have connected my signal cables right in the head unit with lows out

Are you using rca cables direct from the HU to the amp or splicing into the speaker wiring with a line output converter? You said it was better before and the amp/sub changed... detailed photos would help
