amp and sub matches that are good

are there any voltage and wattage meters similar to the smd meters, that dont cost an arm and a leg .he cant be the only one putting them out. he may have his own shop but there has to be someone else that has made some. if thats the case, then i need to learn to make some and get in on the market.
There are Vids to look into to set gains with min tools ,like a dmm and a volt clamp meter even. I tune by ear.. Old school way.. Its not perfect, but it has worked for me for more than 20 years

Laptop cooling fans will not move enough CFMs to keep up with cooling. Stinger/Xscorpian have some that are like 105CFM that I would look into for the money
First Pic.. I see some Azz of some rear deck speakers that need to be capped off. Those XFL subs will push those cones beyond max and will destroy them. If you going to keep them.. and use them.. make some caps from plywood or MDF and seal them off from the trunk air space to keep them alive. 👀 👀
i know, im gonna rip those out when i start everything and relocate them to the rear doors, with 6.5's i just bought. i remember you telling me that, so they will be coming out

I doubt that you will hear them enough to be annoying in the trunk space. I use Scroll fans less CFMs in the cabin space and have a couple of the 105 Flat mounts, and Im fine with them behind me.

i have that box that is in the picture, it has 4 fans on it, i will be pulling that and possibly be building another one to set amps in, if i cant find a design i like to mount them in the open

i was wanting to get some of the ac cabin air to the trunk, but cant figure out how to maybe mount some fans to push cold air into it. maybe do a push pull on that as well, but like you said, the subs would probably shred them

I learned my lesson years ago when my pockets were very slim. 1st time it took about 2 weeks on some nice JBL 6x9s..(I thought it was me and my tuning issues) the second time on a pair of nice Kenwoods then figured it out

Mount the amplifiers approx 1/2" or more above the flat surface/Raised off the surface to get some air flowing around them and some air movement, and they will last you quite a while and run cooler

i probably worded it wrong, the little metering gauges that show when the bass and treble hit. like the smd gauges, i dont know what you call them. i can set the gains well enough, i have an oscope.i havnt even done the volts on the hu yet, so i have everything turned way down. once i rip out the rear deck speakers and get everything in, then i will do the hu and the gains. i may not even have to lengthen any of the wires if i can mount some type of cooling box behind the new sub box.

Most Class D amplifiers will be just fine elevated and some air movement. Its not like the old Class AB amps that generate quite a bit heat like my old Hifonics VII series will. Those get hot enough that you could prob start a cigarette off of back in the day..LOL.

the 4 fans i have on that box are 120mm, you cant hear them at all. i just wired them and run a toggle switch to my driverside kick panel. i actually went agead and wired 2 of them and drilled holes and mounted them. that way if i need to do leds or something else, i already have it in place

Hmm.Id have to look those up.. Im not a Steve Meade fan by any means,as a couple others as well.. Kinda like a Maggot that feeds off others for gain and boast about it without any remorse of the buyers that pay theyre bills, and dont give 2

Gotcha.Nothing wrong with that man.

i have the one now on a set of rubber bump pads about an inch off the bottom of the box. with 2 fans pushing and 2 fans pulling. it seems to be working.

i k ow the one i had in my tercel back in the 80's, you could have probably lit one for sure, because i didnt know squat about gains and had 8 speakers on a 4 channel amp and the gains all the way up.
