Need opinion on good 3000+ amp

It's just simple mathematics.

Not entirely, I think, those Chinese Soundigital knockoffs are extremely cheaply built and I'd expect at least one more version before they're even on par with the ones they're copying. China is coming out with these clones hot and fast and their shortcomings don't really come to light until someone like Sundown sells a few container loads and gets some feedback from the repair shops who get all the broken ones.

So a combination between dubious build quality, not as robust a design as the much more mature half bridge boards that the Far East has been building for 20 years or more now, AND a lot of chucklefucks who see an 8K amp for 600$ and run it on stock electrical and/or try to play low impedance games.

That will never happen. Buck likes to tell everybody to go sukk a dikk. He also has a very strange fascination with Hunter Biden. He is also a virgin and has never posted a build on here. He is an extreme conspiracy theorist without any proof of any of them. If you want to rely on him for your audio advice then have at it. I will step aside. I've only posted three full builds with videos and meter scores in the last three years. Knock yourself out man.

Why would the way I wired it be any different than the way the diagram you sent me is? Both positive leads would be connected just like the diagram.same thing with the negative. The leads are 10 gauge I believe and I have a spool of 10 gauge. Would it be best to just solder the leads with some speaker wire and run it thru the port to the amp? Moving that box is a *****. 90 pounds and shaped awkwardly so tryna not take the box out the car

Her is how the sub needs to be wired correctly to get the sub to your final 2 ohm load. Im sure the diagram isnt the best when it comes to having direct leads verse having spring or screw down terminals. I know the box is heavy, believe me I have my share. I know it blows azz but you are going to have to do it. Gets some help if need be.
Get an Electrical Home Red Twist Red cap/Butt, and a small roll of Electrical tape, and one or two 4-? zip ties work great.(you can find these at H.Depot/Lows or even at an Auto Store/Even Walmart man.
Take One Poss wire from one coil and one Negative wire from the other coil and strip approx 1/2" of the jacket off the leads to expose wiring so that you can take and twist together to the RIGHT. As tight as you can by hand as one, Then you take that Red Home Electrical twist cap/Butt and twist to the RIGHT as tight as you can on those wire. They are together as one wire now.Take a Zip Tie and zip tie these together just below the Red Butt as tight as you can(You can do two if you like, then tape the piss out of the wires and that Red butt to cover the gap.(This way the wiring doesnt come loose inside the enclosure )Done deal. The other Poss from one coil and the other Negative from the other coil go to the amplifier on Pos and Neg as it is. You can check the wires with a DMM before attaching to the amplifier to see if you are within the limitations of the 2ohm load. I would do this before dropping the sub back into the enclosure. I would also look inside to see if all the corners are sealed inside of the enclosure. If not.. Id get a tube of silicone and do the entire corners of the enclosure and leave the sub out on top of the box and let some air in to dry quicker over night. Put the sub back in, and make sure its going to seal around the hole so no air is released and screw it back in.Put it back in the vehicle, Wire Poss to Poss and Neg to Neg on the amp, and turn all your settings back down on the amplifier. Then place your setting back on the HU and try the setting on the amplifier as Bobby has stated since he knows that amp and I have no introduction with that amp series.

We'll get you there bro. Baby steps. Correct wiring first, crossover settings, and then we power up and set that gain. Bass on brotha! Then it's time to rattle some shit loose. Just keep an eye on that volt meter and clip light and you'll be golden.

Be a better secured attachement for sure. Most do not own a soldering iron or gun. Id still use a zip tie to secure both wires together so they dont come loose. I only mentioned this way to secure both leads together due to being cost effective as well as those that do not have tools as most of us have at our exposure. Ive never has any come apart by the way described so far in over 15 years
