What do i need do stop my headlight dimming? Superbank? agm? bigger alternator?

My headlights constantly flicker with the bass when I have the volume over three-quarters of the way up. I have and 08 Jeep Wrangler daily driver and a sound quality setup.

My electrical system consist of a JS alternator rated at 300 amps although it only load tests 250😠, Big 3 kit, and xs power d 3400 agm under the hood. I'm running a kicker class d 1800 watt monoblock at a 1 ohm load and a focal class ab 280 watt 4 channel at a 4 ohm load.



So do you think I should add a superBank or an AGM?


Or maybe even both? I'm getting conflicting answers from everyone.


If the super bank or AGM or both are your recommended solution, how do I wire it and do I need fuses on both?


I have a drawing I will include that shows how I was planning to wire in a super bank. If i need both I will place the AGM right beside the super Bank and run a separate strand of 1/0 to a smd distribution block.

If you have an alt putting out 250 with an XS power battery running 1800 watts and your getting light dim then I think you might have a bigger problem.
I'm running the same wattage with my stock alt(150) and an agm and I don't have any dim.
Does it have halogen lights?

You have all the preventive measures taken care of, so I think your battery may be on it's way out. Not long ago I had the same issue. Shuriken crapped out and on it's way out, it killed the Odyssey starting battery. Now I have 1 conventional battery, and no dimming. I am currently at 2400 watts rms total system power.
 
I know all of them are good except i have not double checked the one from the battery to the frame. We did run an extra cable to the body on the jeep when i was troubleshooting and that didnt improve the dimming.
 
You need more conductivity between the battery and the amp. If you relocate your current battery next to the amp, I bet it will solve your problem.

@Kickstand what are his bigger problems? That sounds like a vague way to say you don't know what the problem is if your guess doesn't help.

That isnt really possible without redoing everything. There is only 13 ft of 1/0 premium ofc between the battery and the monoblock and it is pulling 175 amps.. I thought 1/0 was overkill? Actually i thought everything i done was overkill.. Why im so disappointed to be having trouble.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...

This may be an option for you as well. Im sure Amazon has them on theyre site also to be purchased. Great amps...

If you can find these in your area. Id recommend these for drop ins. They play from 40Htz on up. Sound very nice on amplified power for premium...
