Computer building, I am

I understand completely. After I popped a radiator with a screw, I got another Corsair AIO. I ran it full tilt (the pump) for 2.5 years and then it finally crapped out. Since I don't "overclock" I decided to go back to the old faithful air cooler. However, it can handle 4.5Ghz overclock no problem. But it will never stop pumping and the liquid will never develop clumps that can clog up the water block. My next build I will go back to liquid cooling.

So you think I'd be alright running the AIO fairly high? I mean if it lasts 2 years, that's acceptable for me.

Used to live on Siesta Key from 1999-2001..Man the parties on the beach back then! Probably got a couple kiddos running around down there, lol.

Also get some MX-4 and use this cleaner below it will clean the old paste off and then it comes with a purifier for the cpu cooler block. Bet you see the temps drop 8-10 degrees C right off the bat and once it sets up over time it might drop more

I've got one Corsair enclosed cooling system going on 3 builds, 2 Intel and one AMD and is over 5 years old and still going strong on my Dad's system. As long as they don't leak they tend to hold up really well.

Even then using a paste like the MX-4 Pays for itself. Plus they can last up to 4 years on one tube. I have a tube that is 7 or 8 years old and still works good. As long as you cap it and don't leave it open they last.

The thing is just that I usually won't be using the PC that hard most of the time, not compared to what it's capable of. I may do a gaming bios vs a designing bios.
I think you would be just fine running it a bit higher. I can only speak on how long my Corsair pump lasted at 100%. It may not actually be dead, I forget what made me take it out. It's under my bed as we speak.

I'm betting a leak as that is the one weak spot of any enclosed cooling system. Those joints/clamps and rubber hose tend to give out over time. Corsair also had some quality issues as well for a few months where they were having to replace their systems like hotcakes because people would end up with leaks a couple months after installing them. Corsair then had to pay to have their motherboards and w/e it destroyed replaced. I can't remember the year though on when that happened. It was on a lot of the tech forums at one point but I know Corsair had them quietly take some of it down once the situations were resolved to the customers liking. Not shocking they would do that though most companies will in order to protect their reputation.

All in all though Corsair has been rock solid for me in the enclosed cooling systems and I've had lemme think 5 of them all ranging from the H50-H55-H75-H75 again and there was a H60 as well. This one has a refurbished H75 in it going on 3 years. Next one will be a H110 or a Fractal of similar size. Plus I always double up on the fans on the radiators, one to push air in and one to pull the air out as I have mine setup with it right next to the CPU right now vs up top. But the new tower will be interesting. Seasonic 850 Full Modular vs the Antec 750 Gaming Full Modular now, 32gb of 4000+ memory, 11th Gen Intel and w/e they come out for chipset and they better well damn have PCI 4.0 for the SSD's as I plan on running 3 of those if I can

The guys at corsair are cool. They listen to me ramble about case modifications.

Good Idea, get the MX-4 from the link I posted earlier and that cleaner/purifier. Check Newegg of course for both on the prices but with amazon at least prime so its quicker. You will be much happier. I just use my finger to spread it and then use the cleaner to get it off and a very very soft rag like a old t-shirt to wipe things off nothing with a rough scale on it or you will cause scratches in the cooler and that would be bad. Make Sure you put the paste on the cpu and then set the cooler on top of it. That is what works best for me instead of guessing when putting it on the cooler.

Btw Thxone...screenshot from Cyberpunk 2077 of the character I am using. Lets just say you can modify things when you are making your character, lol. And of course buy some hookers for 100 bucks! lol
