Computer building, I am

You're on liquid... How hot is it in your house that your CPU is at 40c on liquid. I am on air, 73f in the house and I am sitting at 30c on the CPU while surfing the web, being on this site and playing a movie on my TV via my other output on my graphics card.

That's really good cooling if that's the case. Idk about your number because that's only 13 degrees above room temperature. 30 C is 86 F

"If you have an AMD processor, you could say that a CPU core temperature of over 40-45-degrees Celsius while idling and/or a temperature of over 70 degrees Celsius while under full load is probably be cause for concern."

Somebody needs to teach them English. "is probably be cause"- huh?

It's on there man. It's not cool in my room, I leave my window open in FL, plus I'm on the sunny side of my house so it's always hotter. It's probably high 70's in my room, if not 80. My neurological problems mean I can't get too cold, or I shake uncontrollably.

I mean that thing is on there. One thing that it might be is I have the AIO pump turned down (it's on auto mode being controlled by the actual cooler itself right now). It's only running 1/4-1/3 speed or so. The cooler completely left thermal paste on the top before I even tightened it down at all, like before I even hooked the ring into the clip. It was a b*tch to get that ring around the hook. It's 39 degree celcius right when it turns on. As quickly as I turn it on and can get to the menu, it's at that temp.

If there was a problem, it would be their thermal paste, I would think. It's just what came pre-applied on the cooler block.
It's just warm... I am sure 40c wont ever come close to killing it. Just less headroom for overclocking if you plan too. I am not sure what the Tj max is for that CPU but I am willing to bet its 95c. What part of Florida? I grew up in Pinellas County

Not saying it will, I just don't know.
I understand completely. After I popped a radiator with a screw, I got another Corsair AIO. I ran it full tilt (the pump) for 2.5 years and then it finally crapped out. Since I don't "overclock" I decided to go back to the old faithful air cooler. However, it can handle 4.5Ghz overclock no problem. But it will never stop pumping and the liquid will never develop clumps that can clog up the water block. My next build I will go back to liquid cooling.
