I just use my finger to spread it and then use the cleaner to get it off and a very very soft rag like a old t-shirt to wipe things off nothing with a rough scale on it or you will cause scratches in the cooler and that would be bad. Make Sure you put the paste on the cpu and then set the cooler on top of it. That is what works best for me instead of guessing when putting it on the cooler.</p></blockquote><p></p>
