Finished Building System, Any thoughts?

Amp dynos and real life are two different things. Just like the Orion HCCA 3000.1 SPLX Dynoed something retarded like 8000 watts but I'm good friends with Team Orion and have seen them in person only clamping 3k.

IIRC the BS amps really clamped 70 something % efficiency IRL. It's been over a year since that was talked about here.

Taramps makes different ohm load amps for people that need different ohm load amps. Not everyone can wire down to 1 ohm so they catered to those who can't. Every one of my monoblock Taramps amps have been 1 ohm models though.

I can either run 1 ohm or 4 ohm with my sub. I'm not worried about selling the amp either. Wouldn't it make sense for me to buy the MD30001 4 ohm? Wouldn't it be a little more efficient and have less distortion? Just wondering

Who is this we that you speak of? Are you running Taramps? Remember, like you said, many times, if you aren't running them, then don't comment on them. You should live by your own rules. Some people!
He ran taramps, popwar homie ran over 20 +taramps amps, i ran a bunch and installed a bunch. We ran taramps before it was popular and mainstream. We've been involved with countless threads involving taramps, good, bad, troubleshooting in this and 3 other forums not to mention 15 plus car audio groups on Facebook some with 100k plus people. You are talking to people that live and breathe car audio. We arent making any money out of helping you either. We just and experienced what works best in which scenarios.

So, Jeff, would it make sense for me to use the Taramps MD30001 4 ohm version? I'm not worried about selling the amp in the future. I've read that running the 4 ohm version actually lowers distortion and raises the amps efficiency. Am I missing something in thinking that?

Its not really more efficient, you are just making less power. Box rise literally kills off most of the real power output. Wired to 4 ohms youll be closer to 8 to 12 ohms on average and thats significantly a lot less power. Its only more efficient because you are making far less power

The 4 ohm version is actually meant for large midbass setups in doors for ease of wiring

Actually if you study the plan you might notice a difference with 45 placement, it'll affect volume too... oh well... I suppose it's good enough

You are absolutely correct. That's my box building inexperience for ya, this is my first sub box build. Icn still add those 45's if you think it will help? I don't think it would take up too much more air space.

I've run no less than 10 full bridge amplifiers. Most of them banda and taramps. Taramps md1.8, HD3k, MD3k, Bass 12, Bass 15, and HD 15k to name a few. What's the point in telling you this if you dont listen?

Foot loose Remember the seen where Kevin bacon pulled into the school parking lot in his bug jamming quite riot metal health?
how many days ya think before you can recreate that?

I bought Taramps for my mids/highs. What are you talking about?

this.. A big amp barely lifting a finger and not even getting anywhere near max capacity will run colder, more efficient and last way longer vs a red lined amp.

Jeff, I upset Shredder. Didn't mean to, but I got the orientation wrong on the 45's in the box that he so kindly designed for me. I owe him. I was just wondering if I should go ahead and add the four 45's that I screwed up on? I attached a pic of the locations they would be added (yellow). It's my first box build. I'm upgrading the power that was figured for the box, so, maybe adding them won't affect the cubic feet that bad. I know that this thread needs to die already.

Nah... it's your 1st build in awhile. Looks like you are going slow and doing it right. it'll still be 4ft3 in the low 30's

Congrats on being in first. Is your system listed anywhere? O.k., it's the first box that I've ever built (50 years old). So, the airflow won't be screwed up? They would be simple to cut, 19.5" 45's with the ends also cut on a 45°. I might as well build it right, right? If you haven't realized yet, I overthink everything. 😂
