I had a sealed single woofer system. I'm told going to a dual system would effectively give me a 3db increase. I'm also told if I were to go single ported I would get a 3db increase. Does this mean if I combined the changes and go dual woofer ported I would get a 6db increase?

Sounds good on paper but in the real world many more thing's will factor into the equation, resulting in more or less then 6db. Quality of enclosure, tuning, cars resonant freq, etc..etc.

No problem. The Dayton ultimax is one of the better sounding sealed subs I’ve heard. I kinda want to try the 18 in my ride.
