Which subs would get louder?

I am looking at these 12"s

TC Sounds Epic 12" DVC Subwoofer | 293-650

and these:

New American Bass XFL1244 12" 2000W Car Audio Subwoofer Sub 2000 Watt | eBay

Which would get louder with 1100 watts total so 550 to each sub?

You're comparing a sound quality oriented sub and a budget SPL sub here.. lol.

With that said, you probably won't hear a difference between the two as far as "loudness" goes.

That would depend more on the box than anything.

with the right set up, i would say the American Bass sub might be louder just because its geared towards spl with the high excursion.

I would get the Epic's, but the XFL's would get louder.

Personal experience with XFLs makes me strongly suggest them though. Definitely solid woofers, loud and will take a lot of power

Just playin. I want to hear an AB XFL never heard one. I heard a TC Sounds 5400 LMS-R 18" and that was amazing!
